Your photos and reports

The desktop app works primarily locally and offline. Photos, captions and project files are not uploaded to our servers merely by using it. Web Pro edits reports in your browser and lets you open, save and export local files. Report contents are not stored in a PhotoSheet cloud account. You choose what to save, share or send to support.

Information we use

We use account information to sign you in, purchase and subscription records to provide access, and your email for transactional purchase and download messages. We receive contact details, messages and any files you choose to send for support. Please omit confidential information we do not need.

Hosting and online services may process technical information such as requested pages, browser details, IP addresses and request times to operate and protect the service.

Services we rely on

Clerk handles Web Pro authentication and processes account information needed for sign-in. Stripe processes payments and subscriptions, including desktop checkout through Stripe Managed Payments. PhotoSheet does not store full payment-card details.

Netlify hosts the website and online services. Cloudflare provides infrastructure, storage and file delivery. MailerSend sends transactional purchase emails; click, open and content tracking are disabled in our email requests.

Cookies and browser storage

Desktop checkout uses a strictly necessary purchase-access cookie lasting up to 30 days. Clerk and Stripe use authentication, checkout and fraud-prevention technologies where those services are used.

The public site remembers dismissal of the privacy notice in local storage until you clear site data. Dismissing the notice does not change analytics or essential services. If storage is blocked, it may reappear. The Netlify badge also remembers when you dismiss it.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate website usage and performance. Cloudflare states that it uses no analytics cookies, local storage or visitor fingerprinting. Analytics is excluded from the private purchase-download recovery page. We do not use advertising pixels or optional marketing trackers on the public site.

Sharing and retention

We share information with service providers as needed to operate PhotoSheet, deliver purchases and provide support, or where required by law. Providers may process it in other countries and have their own privacy practices. We keep information as long as reasonably needed for these purposes and required recordkeeping. We take reasonable steps to protect it, but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and contact

You control your local report files and what you send us. You can clear browser storage; clearing necessary cookies may require signing in again or using your private purchase-email link. Keep that link secure.
